September Songs

Working on new comps for an upcoming concert in September–we’ll be playing with Kyle Bruckmann‘s gagaku-inspired group Addleds at a new music series starting at Noe Valley Ministry.

When I’m working on pieces for this group, I automatically go into “Bristle”-mode, be that good or bad: I don’t want to come to the table with any old thing, it’s got to have twists and turns, labyrinthine paths, diagrams, road maps.  Slows things down, but hopefully squeezes the best stuff into the final construct.

Our first CD is in the offing & near at hand, we’ll keep you all posted…
