Getting Graphic

We had a great time at Studio Grand last month, debuting 3 new pieces, including Cory’s game-boardish Lines of Work–we’ll be presenting those pieces anew, AND premiering a couple more yet again at our next show at the Makeout Room in San Fran 11/5. Randy here–I’ve always been interested in trying new layouts and arranging composed material so it is not stuck in the note/staff grid. I’ve got a new crop of graphic scores, some inspired by my friend Chris Jonas (his improv schematic Snake Techtonics) and others by my old crush the Abstract Expressionists.
